Similar to the OSCOR Blue, the OSCOR Green is a highly advanced, portable spectrum analyzer specifically designed for fast and intuitive detection of electronic eavesdropping signals. Its standout features include an automatic antenna switching system, a user friendly touchscreen interface, and the ability to sweep a range of 24 GHz in 1 second. The OSCOR Green also offers a unique 2D waterfall display that provides real time spectral representation and significantly improves signal analysis. Its compact, portable design and built in software make it an excellent tool for field deployments. It is available in two models: OSCOR Green 24 GHz and OSCOR Green 8 GHz. They differ only in frequency range.
What Is the Difference Between OSCOR Blue and OSCOR Green?
A key technical difference between OSCOR Blue and OSCOR Green lies in how the trace data recorder/spectrogram feature works. The OSCOR Green spectrogram stores intermediate traces at 24.4 kHz resolution at least every 10 seconds, providing more detailed snapshots but less frequently, while the OSCOR Blue trace data recorder stores intermediate traces at 12.2 kHz resolution at least every 5 seconds, providing less detailed but more frequent snapshots. The choice depends on your specific requirements. If you are dealing with rapidly changing signals and need to capture these changes in real time, the OSCOR Blue may be the better choice. If, on the other hand, you need more detailed information about the signals and rely less on capturing fast changes, the OSCOR Green could be the better choice for you.
