How to start recording with the PV-500 Neo Pro DVR:

1. Connect the camera to the mini USB camera jack of the DVR
2. Make sure the SD card is inserted, and the battery is charged
3. Press the power button for 3 seconds 
4. Press the record button if you wish to start/stop recording before connecting the DVR to Wi-Fi 
5. Press the power button for the second time to power on Wi-Fi 
6. Connect your Android/iOS device to a Wi-Fi Network that starts with "PV-500.."
7. Use the default password "88888888" - it can be changed later on in the App Settings
8. Open your PV-CAM app and start monitoring your live feed

Can I monitor the live feed from the PV-500 Neo Pro from anywhere in the world?
No, for remote monitoring from anywhere in the world, we advise you to take a look at the IP Camera section. The PV-500 Neo Pro comes with a built-in Wi-Fi module that allows you to connect the DVR to your smartphone and access the footage within your Wi-Fi range.

What's the recording resolution of the PV-500 Neo Pro?
The PV-500 Neo Pro offers recording resolutions in 1080p, 720p, and WVGA. You can adjust these settings in the device's configuration.

How long can PV-500 Neo Pro record on a single charge?
When powered by the included BA-2200 battery, the PV-500 Neo Pro can record for up to 160 minutes in 1080p.

Is there a larger capacity battery available for the  PV-500 Neo Pro?
Yes, you can purchase the BA-4400 battery separately. It extends the DVR's operation time to up to 400 minutes.

Can I use my PV-500 Neo Pro as a standard DVR without Wi-Fi function?
Of course, the PV-500 Neo Pro can be used without Wi-Fi, and you have multiple control options available. You're not obligated to use the Wi-Fi functionality if you don't find it practical.

Can I use the PV-500 Neo Pro without a camera?
You can power on the DVR, access data, and adjust settings without a camera, but recording is only possible when a camera is connected to the DVR.

Can I operate the PV-500 Neo Pro without an SD card?
No, you must insert an SD card into the slot to activate the DVR. Otherwise, it will automatically power down after a few seconds.

What is the memory capacity of the PV-500 Neo Pro? 
All data gets saved on a complimentary 16GB SD card. You can use even larger 32 GB SD cards sold separately or even format 64 GB SD cards to FAT32 format for larger storage.  

How do I unlock the screen on my PV-500 Neo Pro?
The screen automatically locks when recording begins, indicated by a lock icon on the touch screen. To unlock it, press and hold the Rec/Stop button for 2-3 seconds until the lock icon disappears.

Can I adjust the video length on my PV-500 Neo Pro?
Yes, you can customize the video length settings to 3, 5, or 10 minutes through the device's settings.
